those colors look weird. The torch red looks burnt orange. The lime green is like an electric green. etc etc.

Even the colors that are supposed to remain the same (i.e. Torch Red and Windveil Blue) look way off, so I wouldn't put much faith in the accuracy of the new colors on that site.

The links appear to be legit. Basically the same colors with a minor difference in shades.

My salesman commented that Vista Blue was offered on mustangs about a dozen years ago and was likely lighter than windveil. According to those color chips, he may be right.

I think Ford has taken a step back with the 2006 pallete. They really need to have a dark blue (ie True Blue) a dark grey (ie DSG) and a dark green.

If they had offered DHG for '06, I would be ordering an '06

And the only new option? Tire Pressure Monitor into the message system. Would have been nice to have for the current MY. Ohwell.

When I went to that site to check the 05' colors last year, they were off the same way.

Colarado IS torch red...
So no change there.

Its not uncommon for colours to be named something different but have the same paint code.
Same could be said for Legend Lime/Lime Gold (they may stick with the previous years name)
and same with Ebony/Black.
No one said Ebony was going to be a metallic black, thats what everyone hoped.

I'm kinda interested in the tire pressure system too, would be slick to have that. I'll look into it as soon as I get access to the 2006 shop manual.

I am going to have a tire pressure sensor. It's a long, cylindrical metal object I shall keep in the glovebox.

DHG is probably in the Ford paint "hall of fame", reserved for "Bullitt" edition(s) only.

If that is true about vista blue being lighter then windveil blue then I am happy because the sonic blue will be even more unique.

Sonic, Mineral Gray were 05 colours only.

Weird how they have satin and tungsten...
I'd figure they'd replace one with the other.
