Each week we get a breakdown on the percentages of each model, etc that are being built. These are the percentages they will build for Chicago region orders that are "pulled" on Thursday 7/14.

Total GT 41% [higher than it used to be]
V6 Coupe 42%
V6 Pony Pkg 17%
GT Manual 21%
64E Wheels 21%
64W Wheels N/A

This is for the Chicago Region only. Each region is different.

Ah Ha! This explains all the happy GT customers that have already been pulled and why my Pony package may take a while. Bummer!

Nice, Maybe I will get it sooner than the January month my dealer mentioned.
Hoping he was playing it safe considering how the 05 orders were filled, and Ill get it much sooner.

Does the Chicago region include the Twin Cities, or is it literally just Chicago and suburbs?

Twin Cities is not in the Chicago region, it covers Milwaukee down to about Springfield, IL and up to Cedar Rapids, IA.

Is that kind of difference between regions normal?

Well, I'm in SW Michigan and got a call from the dealer today about my order...

Story goes like this: Ford called and provided my dealer here with one GT allocation - an auto. My order (or order in waiting) is as follows:

2006 LL GT Coupe Premium
Active Alarm
IUP
5-Speed Manual
Dark Charcoal

I had to decline the offer (really want the manual in this car) and hope that I did not push my wait out 3 months in doing so. If nothing else, it means that I'm getting close to the top of the list that I paid $1000.00 to join back in April.

Well, it's what they wanted to be put "down" on the car but still...

I agree, it seems steep compared to some figures that I've seen around here. I would have been much more comfortable with $500.00 down. But then there's that whole notion of putting money down on a car that is not readily available too. Yup, you're right - crazy stuff.

When I read the title of this thread I thought for sure it was going to be about corn and wheat futures
