Well I heard some of the new colors for 2006 from a few people. Keep in mind these are subject to change:

Vista Blue
Colorado Red
Tungsten
Lime Gold (I'm assuming this is close to Legend Lime)

There ya go. Not sure if any of the new colors have existed in past years.

I have family and friends at Ford.

Yeah, me too. My sources may have meant Titanium or he might of meant Tungsten but accidentally said Titanium.

Yeah, me too. Tungsten is subject to change already and Titanium is the most likely replacement.
or maybe replacing satin.. that would make more sense.

Dan and I heard it from the man himself that Titanium will be added to the lineup.

Once again, because the paint shop is shared with the Mazda 6, they will try and keep some common colors for both cars.

If this color palette is correct, it will mean sonic is a one year only color... makes it even better for me to get, that way not too many will be on the road

I am sure there is plenty of time before the colors are finalized

I was really hoping that an orange color would be available for 2005 or at the latest 2006. I would prefer the 96 orange but the competition orange isn't bad. This makes it really hard to wait. I love the old 69-70's boss mustangs with the orange and black. Man, I can't believe they bring back orange the year before the body change. It seems like they just wanted to give buyers some type of reason to buy an 04 and not wait for the redesigned 05. O well, looks like black or silver then.........

Sounds odd.
I don't think they'd keep Satin and Titanium
2 silvers...nah..

Titanium and maybe a dark shadow...

but Tungsten Silver is the colour on the 05 Concept coupe...no way they are having 3 silvers...let alone 2.
I say Satin will be bye bye... and Titanium will take its place.

The 05s aren't even out yet...let alone even THINKING about 06s

Well Matt, I sit corrected... but I sware it looks like Legend Lime. IMO Ford would be stupid to have two colors that are so close to one another yet different names. IMO that's pointless I say just keep Legend Lime. Anywho thats just one mans opinion.

They had 27 colors to choose from in '67, that's alot. The car would be out of production before I could pick a color.

Lime Gold, if I'm not mistaken.

Lime Metallic is what is stamped on my 68 & it is the same color is this. It's real close to the 05's Legand Lime. Saw the 05 in Nashville at the 40th Anniversary & looks the same to me.
