Hey everyone!

I don't know if this has been posted yet, or if anyone's still actively looking for it, but I got a print-out yesterday for 2006 MSRP (according to the local dealer, anyways...) here in Canada. It should be noted that at the top of the print out it says "price level code 615." Whether or not that makes a difference, I have no idea. Anyway! Here it is:

Mustang: 2-Door Coupe $23,995
Mustang: 2-Door Convertible $27,995
GT: 2-Door Coupe $32,995
GT: 2-Door Convertible $36,995
All Models: Destination and Delivery $1,050

5-Speed Automatic Transmission $1,220

Mustang: 16 inch Machined Aluminum w/Chrome Spinner $200
GT: 17 inch Bright Machined Cast Aluminum $300
GT: 18 inch Polished Aluminum (incl. P255/45ZR18 tire) $895
All Models: Wheel locking kits $45

Mustang: Leather Seating Surfaces $895
GT: Leather Seating Surfaces Sport Buckets $895

Handling Package $995
Interior Upgrade Package $535
Interor Sport Package $225
Interior Colour Accent Package $245
Pony Package (V6 Only) $1,595
Labels, French (Standard on vehicles ordered in Quebec) N/C
Active Anti-Theft $295
Front Seat Air Bags $495
Mouldings, Bodyside $95
Spoiler Delete (GT Only) N/C
Tape Stripe Delete (Pony Pkg only) N/C

Shaker 500 Audio $765
Shaker 1000 Audio (V-8 only) $1,975

And there she be! Now that I know what MSRP is,... well, now I know what MSRP is. Thought I'd pass it along!

Great news Ill be placing my order this week hopefully, just waiting for my dealer to get all their paperwork in, apparently they havnt gotten all this yet.

At least the price isnt too bad for the 18s but I dont really know if it'll be worth it as I could probbaly get a decent set of aftermarlets for close to that

Yeah, I'm kinda impressed with the prices on some of the new options. The 18" wheel upgrade for the GT, and the pony pkg (which include 17" wheel upgrade and the handling package, not to mention all that other stuff) for the V6 sound pretty reasonable to me! I'll be going with the V6 though since I can't afford the extra $10,000+ for the GT.

Now, if only we could convince someone to post Canadian dealers' cost... 0:-)

Look around...the 05 costs were there...but i think they are a little higher now (as the Price Catergory increased) but they should be close.

895 for the wheels (255s) isn't bad at all

Ya, I'm not certain on the 255 thing - all indications are that they AREN'T coming on the rims despite the rumors - has something happened recently to change this?

Not sure, Rondosa. I didn't ask about the 18"s since I'm planning on getting a V6. BUT, the info I posted came right off of the print-out the dealer handed me, and as far as I could tell, it looked pretty legit. Ford disclaimer, fancy tables and product codes and all that stuff. haha.

Don't forget the $316.00 data processing fee at the dealership.

Cool, well thanks!

BTW, was that a DORA that you received from your dealer?

Yeah, I know I heard the same thing.
With them being a 8.5" wide rim, they were using 235s as well instead of the 255.

However there was one guy who said 255s could be an option (or at least dealer installed)

If I bought those rims, the 235s would be off and the 255s would be on.

I know when the 18" bullitts come out, I'd get those with 255s....sweet width. Not too wide, not too narrow

The 18's are 235s. I have my order infront of me and they are 235s not 255s. It is confirmed they are 235s. 255's would be nice!!!

Well, if you've got the order confirmed then I would definitely take that as official over the info I was given for the 18"s, 05limelegendmustang. Can't really argue with that. Just out of curiosity though, how long ago did you order? Is it possible that Ford would change something like that at this point? I doubt it, but you never know I guess.

As far as the pricing being the same, it does look almost identical, but I'm not gonna complain if they didn't care to raise the price since last year! Besides, the prices for all of the new options are in that list, so I'm pretty convinced that what he gave me is accurate for 2006 MSRP.

Rondosa, I wish I could say that I have a DORA! Sadly though, I haven't placed my order yet. It was just a print-out from the dealer's system info as far as I can tell.

Ahhhh ok thanks for the info. I actually placed my order over a week ago but the dealer still hasn't received the DORA - for my 05 order, the DORA arrived the next day so I'm a little worried.

Just have to wait and see I suppose.

Thanks

IIRC, it's an option for the V6's - I think it's ABS and traction control

Hey,
Ordered my 06 GT Convertible today. Black with IUP. Colour accent, 18" wheels.
dealer priced it at $37,460 plus taxes. Had 2005 ordered from same dealer but of course couldn't get it. A other dealer tried selling me a 05 with 20" wheels and strip package for $50,000.
