2 new colors, Tungsten and Vista Blue.
2 new 18" wheel choices.
The Pony Package for the V-6.

Other than those, I think that they are the same.

Also, all the 2006 models will come with a tire pressure monitoring system on the message centre

Only upgrades I see are the ones you have to pay extra for and that's just wheels. Otherwise they are the same.

The Ford fleet page on the Mustang does mention the pressure alert system. Doubt they'd have that there unless it was on the car.

Oh, nooo. A Ford web site could never be wrong. :nono: (think global window feature)

It was supposed to be but rumor is it didn't make it this year. Won't know for sure until somone actually looks for it on an '06.

I'd be surprised if the tire pressure monitoring system was installed on all models. I believe you need the IUP with MyColor in order to display this information. Right?

It is going to have to eventually, there is a federal mandate on it.

Cheap-insurance was talking about the '05s. <_<

And the TPMS I believe will be an idiot light for Mustangs without the Message Center and a message for those with the Message Center. It has to be on all '06 cars, though.

The rumor was that the mandatory requirement was put off until '07.
Anybody have an '06 at their local dealer where they can take a look? (or better yet, in their driveway )

Just walked over to dealer and checked out the Tungsten. Soooo happy I ordered it, its HAWTTTTTT.

Anyway he had only v6's in and none of which had the pressure sensors.
He doesnt understand why, his info shows them as having them on the 06

The 2005s are designed this way too! It's not new for 2006. Insurance rates probably won't come down till 2007 according to USA Today last week.
