I called today and got "Scheduled to be built week of Feb. 14th." I checked my dealerships inventory and it said they had a Vert, but it wasn't mine and mine is the only one they ordered. I'm thinking WTF, so I called and she(Sales Manager) said they didn't have one and haven't ordered one other than mine. Then she proceeded to tell me that my car has been bucked. She got the info today from her printout from Ford. But I just re-checked the VOPC and it still said the same "Scheduled to be built" stuff. 
I don't know what to think or you to believe. I sold my car last week so I'm a little more anxious to get the Vert. Being carless is no fun.

Hooray. Produced as of Feb. 18th. I have the VIN. My car is also listed on the dealers Ford Website. As soon as Ford produces the cars they automatically put them in the dealers inventory. In my previous post the car I saw in their inventory was mine. The just had the description wrong so I didn't think it was mine. Farout. Now I'm really anxious.

I just talked to my dealer and my vert is supposed to be delivered Thursday!! The dealer thought this would be the only GT vert that he will get for 2005. Hopefully, I can get it on Friday morning. But, he said that it is not 100% that it will come in that day. Keeping my fingers crossed. I may have it for the weekend!!

I'm with you Jeff. I ordered early also hoping to be one of the first. Congratulations to you guys getting deliveries anyways. Mine will be here in about 3 weeks. Plenty of time because it's still pretty cold here in PA.

I'm happy for all of you too. I'm going crazy just waiting to see some good convertible photos already.
My dealer gets their first vert late next week (white/darkchrk/GT), I'm gonna go take it for spin. As of last Friday, I'm still not serialized, but because of that, I was able to delete the spoiler without impacting my place in line. By the time I get mine, it will be in the 90's and too hot to drive top down. :flame2:
I can't believe no one on this forum has a vert yet? Wouldn't deliveries have started last week?

Just recieved this from Ford Canada
According to our resources, the current update on your order is
"SHPD CONVEY". This indicates the vehicle has been shipped by haulaway
truck carrier. The Estimated Arrival Date to Dealer is 3/04/05-
03/11/05.

Ok found out today my car has been shipped, due to arrive at dealer week of 3-14-05. They said it should take 8 business days to get to the dealership. So 3-16-05 ETA. After sitting at the rail yard for 16 days, its moving finally. Hopefully this means the other 3,298 are moving too. I'm sooo relieved it finally moving. Now the wait won't be so bad. One thing though, I called the Sales Manager at my dealership asking for an update and they never called me back that was 3 days ago. I've been going to this dealer talking Mustangs since Sept. 04. I've left dozen's, dozen's of messages and I've had one returned. If I hadn't received the deal I did, I would have kissed them goodbye long ago. I can't wait to get it from them. I'm then going to write the owner a very long letter, while my car will be serviced elsewhere. LOL

ordered satin silver vert on 1/14 red leather all the toys got vin on 2/12 is locked in and scheduled for production this week 3/7 hope to here by end of week if its build wonder how long after built until del it will be the only gt vert our dealership will get have been told caint wait!!!!!

With people starting to pick up their Vert's the jealousy and fear are building day by day. I need this car by August because that's when the lease ends on our second car. When I ordered the dealer seemed worried I might not get it by then, he even joked about 2006. I shrugged it off since I was ordering seven months in advance. I've been waiting for this car since the concept and if I have to buy something else just because Ford has some backward order system I'm going to blow a f'ing gasket.
