Ok i don't want to waste a thread but i thought the 1/4 mile specs weren't out for the 05 Stang yet.


2005 Mustang GT

Weight: 3425 lbs
Trans: 5-Speed Manual/5-Speed Auto
Horsepower: 300 bhp @ 6000 rpm
Torque: 315 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm
Redline: 6250 rpm
0-60: 5.2 sec
Quarter: 13.9 sec @ 104 mph
Skidpad: .85g
Braking, 60-0: 116 ft

That sight has too many popups for me to trust. Likely they just went with the horsepower ratings and guessed.

Oh, i see. I probably would have made the same observation if not for my pop up bloker. I would still be happy with thoes specs though.

Quarter: 13.9 sec @ 104 mph
What a coincidence. I just posted almost the exact same #s (0-60 in 5.25 seconds and 1/4 mile in 13.9) on the string below, based on how similiar the rwhp and weight of the 05 GT matches the 03/04 Mach 1.

Yeah, and MT also said base price would be $26,900. It all means nothing until the car's actually out there and real performance numbers can be crunched.
