If they painted on the stripes, why didn't they carry them down
over the front bumper. Heck for that matter why didn't they at
least them to the end of the hood?

I really don't know, maybe the '67 Shelby didn't have the stripes
down on the front valence either, but I think it would have looked
better if they had.

Brad posted pics referring to this car a day or so ago. It is an interesting rendition.

I'm with you! Don't care what others think....it is flippin' kickin'....I had dreams of doing something like this but kept my mouth shut after Eleanor got slammed on here for having her Dad give her Cobra emblems.....Maybe if more of these come out people will mellow.

Will have to see how the 07' Cobra looks....was very dissed with Saleen's new look. If it ain't retro....it ain't working for me.

[SIZE=1]Nah, some people are think all cars should be as they were intended.
Stripes should be different color, and needs a new front bumper, shelby style. Nice car though.

See the car in the background of this pic?

All in all it is a great looking ride BUT, IMO, it is
blastfomy putting shelby emblems on it and selling it that way.
Total wannabe. Carol would laugh at this guy . Again JMO.
You want a shelby? Wait for it to be produced and signed by Carol.

the grille is cool.... but it looks like the fog lights are tweaked out from the middle... Maybe it's just me??? like they're not pointed straight ahead but angled out to the left and right

I agree, at least a 50 hp bump would work, but nothing, that's not acceptable.

Carroll wouldn't laugh-he'd probably offer to put it in his Sheby registry for a nice fee like hes been doing for the Eleanor crowd. Personally, I think the car looks better for having the fender and grill shelby badges - the trunk badge i'm still not sure on. hate the stripes tho. You're spot on tho, holderca1 - if you're putting the shelby name on something, it at least needs to go faster than stock! after I put a supercharger on mine (well, maybe just a forced air ) I'd like to add those emblems myself. I kow it ain't a real shelby, but I sure as heck won't have the ~75k for a real one. how much are those badges? 20 bucks? yeah, lets go with that!

You guys are silly. There are a ton of Shelby replicas out there and they bring good money. As Shelby is an icon for Mustangs, it only makes sense to go for the Shelby look. I wonder how many people added SS badging to Camaros and Chevelles thru the years. Wonder if anyone put a 6 pack hood scoop on his 4bbl Challenger?

Why have a Mustang that looks like all the other Mustangs? Some people want em stock, some drool for 20" wheels, some like the Shelby look. Some want a blower....

The word is hot rodding...... individualism.
Not liking a car or mods is one thing. We all have opinions, however bashing someones individulism is just silly.

Not a bad lookiking car at all, would like to see the grille in better detail. I wouldnt want it though because it has a stick. I have driven enough sticks in my life, the slush box is fine.

Live and let live.

I enjoy my individuality. Or Lunacy depending on the day....

And
A) they are backwards- hence Eleanor is my fauxbra
B) I am not cheating an 05 cobra out of something, cause there isn't one.

Do your worst....Its all cool to melike her or hate her, cause in the end, I still get to enjoy my mustang

PS- if that thing actually had 350 HP it would be a lot cooler, but the stripes :notnice: unfinished stripes smell.
