I think this clay model looks better because they hadn't cut out the holes in the front fascia yet (as of the date of the pic). It does look much better, but, still... The photocrap, I mean photoshop, left a bad taste in my mouth. It's kinda like seeing an ugly person naked accidentally. They look better with their clothes on, but you'll always know what's underneath.

 

These guy have it all wrong!!! I'm not impressed. This kit looks like it belongs on a civic!!!!

 

Clay or not,these still look bad.Maybe its thanks to great first off design by the ford guys,but adding extras takes away from the clean lines and just looks silly.Here's hoping saleen gets it right,and delivers us a nice clean crisp model that gives the car even more understated elegance,and stays as far away as possible from cheap add on extras!

 

I'm with you man, I was never a huge fan of Roush but that photoshop pretty much sealed the deal for me

 

You know what, I hated that PS they made, but as we can clearly tell by these two pics they are only takings a few things from the PS. So this is beginning to make me wonder. :scratch: Yes it still needs work done to its design but at least now it has some potential. IMO the louvers on the hood will end up looks really nice once the other side is done. We all knoe it will have a strip of huge louvers on both the driver and the passenger sides of the hood. This i believe will potentially make that hood a hit in the after market. I also believe that it will also help pull together that duck tail in with the rest of the car. People even though this is still only a clay model of the future Roush's, I am sure we wont end up seeing some ugly POS. I have a feeling that it will look as hot as the Saleen will look or well does look... you get what I mean. Anyways I guess what I'm saying is that I will now hold off on my opinion for when I see the actualy car itself.

Ditch the rice but i want side exhaust? Isn't that more or less rice? It is added on to make it look like a race car. It does not add any performance advantage. The race cars do that to shorten the pipes and create less back pressure. A street legal car just runs the pipe to the side instead of the back.

 

If this is getting closer to the finished article, why did Roush release that God-awful photochop? Talk about a marketing disaster, I hope someone lost their job as a result of such a PR blunder.

As for the clay model..........make the front end a little less "busy" and I like it!
