LOL why not nitpick?

After all, the almost infinite customizability (lol if that's a word) is part of the rich mustang heritage. Heck, that's part of the reason it sold so many the first year...cuz everyone could have THEIR mustang.

I'm not bothered by the cover, but I will probably change it to something else, partially because I feel weird dropping a nice aftermarket system in it and keeping grilles that say "Shaker 500" on them. And partially because it's one way that this Mustang will be mine...and like no other out there.

they did keep the latch for the seats. they just moved it from the side to behind. It works great too! hey I wonder if anyone eles tried raising and lowering the head rests? I did and ford got that right too! it was so easy to adjust. go try it you will see way I am getting excited over such a little thing like that!

I JUST LOVE THIS WHOLE CAR!

Where are the amps located on the 05's shaker? My friend has an 04 w/ a 1000 and the rack runs the width of the trunk. Where did they put them? My only assumption is that they are on the opposite side that the subs are located, but we have not seen any pictures of them.

True true. I'm putting in an aftermarket system and ripping out my Shaker 500, but I'm going to try to be there when the installers do it so I can take pics of how the original stuff is mounted. It won't completely answer your question, since it won't be the 1000 amp, but I'd think that the 2 subs in the doors of the 500 gotta have an amp somewhere.
