Hey guys been following these boards pretty regularily but first time posted. This car is located at Lou Sobh Ford, Decatur Ga. (just outside Atlanta) they also had a V6 model. Took a couple of photographs for y'all. One thing I noticed that I haven't seen anyone mention. When you open the doors the windows automatically go down about 1/4 inch then go back up when you close the door. At first I thought the window didn't fit right until the salesman pointed it out to me. As many have said car was really nice, suprised still alot of trunk room even with the shaker system. Speakers looked a little gaudy in the door for my taste but maybe I'm just getting old. Also, for me the rear spoiler didn't look as bad in person as it did in the photographs I've seen. If I messed up the pics I'll try again.

Scott

Scott,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the pics. I'm fiending over here in NYC :bang: since NO dealers in my area have them yet but they all want me to come in and talk...??? Talk about what? Most don't even have their price guides! Grr!!! So I direct them all here to get their info.

Enjoy the site, it's GREAT!

Welcome Scott, nice pics. That freakin speaker hangin out of the door is idiotic. After everything they did to this car they could have did that better. Just my opinion.

Agree, I cringed when I saw the first picks on the speaker cover :bang: . Perhaps the speaker itself doesn't stickout that far and we can get a better cover to go over it?

It's not for the speaker...it's the excursion (travel) of the speaker that causes problems. However, you may be able to find something for it soon...just watch the SEMA results I'd guess.

Oh great, now I want a black one. I swear, every time I see a real picture of a different color, I change my mind. I've gone from Silver to Gray to White to now Black. Would someone stop posting pictures please?!

Wait a minute, don't listen to that. :nono:

Welcome to the site. Awesome pics but hate to burst your bubble. We've known about the windows for a long time now

What bugs me about the car is the seats. The concept and until shortly before production the front seats had the latch located at the top/side of the seat that when you flip it the seat leans forward for people getting in and out of the back seat. This is how the old stangs were. Wish they kept that for this model.

Me either. With so much to love about the '05 Stang, why nitpick over a speak cover?
