Okay, I have heard some conflicting things from my local salesman and people on this website. First, I plan on ordering my V6 2005 mustang around Christmas time. I was told that I can order it with the fog lights in the grille even though it is a V6. I was also told I can order the 17" bright machined cast wheels. Plus the spoiler without the sport appearance package. Also I was told that I can order dual exhaust for it. I think some things are true, but others may not be. Anyone know? Anyone here like the Torch Red color as much as I do? If I can not order these things, do you think they will be available later? Oh yeah, for those who say why dont you just get the V8. I am only 19 and I can't afford the high insurance premiums.

You can get the spoiler without the stripe, but only if you order it separately from the car through the factory. This is what I'm doing just to avoid having that stripe.

As for the rest of the information. Am I wrong to suggest that you find a different dealer? They don't seem very affluent with 2005 information.

I believe the stripe is vinyl. So i think it would be possible to remove it without having left over stripe on the car. If this could be done, you could maybe sell it to a GT owner who wants a stripe.

This is what the dealer may be telling you, except that they would keep the stripe and sell it to a GT owner or someone who didnt want a spoiler.

I just checked on insurance. A GT will run approx. $100 a year more than the V6. I think I can get $100 more enjoyment out of the car.
