I may have to go. A corndog and a 05 stang sounds like a good combo meal.

 

The corndogs at the Fair are really very good. And if this year is like years past, the 05 Mustang will not be in a tent, it will likely be inside the huge car show building with all the other Fords. I am guessing (98% sure) that people will be able to sit in it, not just look from afar.

Also good at the Fair: The Marine Corps Drum & Bugle Corps performs every day except Wednesday at 4pm, as well as leading the evening parade. My brother in law used to be in it and it was always fun to watch their show. Quite patriotic!

I'm pretty sure it's every day except Wednesday. That's how it was when he was in it.

 

Do ya'll think that Ford will have a certain time set up where they have a presentation? I looked on the fair's event page, but could find nothing about Ford auto presentations. I assume they'll have a salesperson of some type around all the time to answer questions. I hope they don't have it on one of the spinning platforms, because then i don't think we'll be able to sit in it .

 

Went to the fair today. AND the stang was there!!! There were 2 places you could see it, 1 was in the showroom and a black gt was spinning around with one of the doors open, and there was a silver gt with red seats outside that you could sit in. Man that mustang looks so awesome up close. They also had the new vette, the ford gt, and the new viper there. You can get your picture taken with the viper its pretty cool. All of you who live around Dallas should go, the mustang looks so good in black.

 

Does anyone know for sure if the '05 is at the State Fair of Oklahoma? Don't wanna go unless it's there. Thanks.

 

havent heard if it's in oklahoma...i know it's 3 hours south of there though

 

Just got back from the state fair, and there were 3 MUSTANGS, (black, silver, and red). !! There were also 2 GT's !!! You were able to get into the silver mustang, the other 2 were on display stands. It was a GREAT carshow, alot better than what i expected. As soon as i get my film developed, i'll try to post some of the pics. If you have the chance to go to the state fair, DO NOT MISS OUT!!! it is worth it!

Not sure if I'm going to be able to go or not. Tomorrow is the last day of the State Fair of Oklahoma.

 

just got my pics developed from earlier today...and the camera malfunctioned :bang: , nothing turned out !! i appologize for my ancient camera, i was hoping that i could finally contribute something to this site. Oh well, i might go back before i head back home.

ps- If anyone has any pics of the black stang that was at the state fair, could you please post it :worship: ?

 

FYI - The state fair of Oklahoma has a new Mustang GT (Silver) and a GT. Both cars are on the floor instead of platforms so you can stand right next to them and check out the interior and engine. Check it out if you can because Sunday is the last day.
