Automobile magazine had a very positive review of the mustang. The title of the article was Back in the saddle : Horsing around with the best ride 25,000 will buy. some of my favorite quotes were

"Key this V8 to life and you'd swear flaming bowling ***** were rumbling down the exhaust pipes. The boom is big and barely restrained. This is one V8 that doesn't mince or mumble"

"This is an automatic with masterful moves"

They were also very positive on the live axel and spent alot of time focusing on the suspension There track times were as follows for the manual.

Now before you get upset at the numbers or complain that they don't know how to drive remember what you need to look for is how this compares to other cars they test, don't compare numbers from other magazines. When the 300c came out Car and Driver had it at 5.3 while Automobile had the 300c at 6.1. So compare the stangs time to the 6.1 or the times of other cars automobile has tested.
