Am I reading this wrong or is the "winner" paying $250,000 for a stolen car?

Guy buys 2005 Mustang GT
Guy buys XCalibrator, sets redline to 9000rpm
Guy does burnouts until his engine explodes
Guy takes engine out, makes up story, puts car on eBay.

The ad is a fake. If you look at the pic they show a little car show podium next to the right fender like there was on the pony tour. Pic was taken at a car show of some type. N00b prolly found it on the internet.

hey isnt there someone on this site that really wants an orange 05...and I know there are many of you just dying for that cover on the engine, maybe that ones worth it....the dumby could've at least done a better photochop of the car. I think I am going to drive up the bidding to at least 2 Million, cant pass up owning a car that not only was stolen and thus gets a salvage title so you cant get full coverage on insurance, but it also allows you to add your own engine...its like my models of mustangs that I build.

People fall for crap like this.. Did you hear about the lady on ebay who sold a 10 year old Grilled cheese sandwich for $30k to a huge company because it had something that looked like the face of the virgin Mary ? It was all over the news and papers .

Goes to show there are some nutcases out there that are naive and gullible..

I had a turkey sandwich in my lunch tonight....maybe I could get 20K for that...it had american cheese, mustard and bread....the mustard kinda looked like the moon when you opened the sandwich up....

Nice down payment on a GT, right???

Does the auction for the engine actually say that it comes with the cover? The photo is a Ford stock one.

Does not include upper and lower intake or accesories
I would assume it does not include the covers.

However, I wonder if this engine is the one removed from the guy selling the stolen car with no engine.

HMMM, makes you think.

Well all I can say is that the guy has wasted about $40.00 to list his item. I love my 05 Mustang GT but I wouldnt pay that money if it was the last Mustang and only mustang on this planet.
