Hello All, I'm brand spankin new to this board. I registered for the forums because I came across an interesting picture of a 2005 Mustang convertible in blue on the Autoweek.com website. I wonder if this is a PhotoChop - I would think not. Anyways, here is the pic/link from Autoweek's website. I hope this is not yesterday's news!

The full discussion is here:

Someone on this site took that picture last week. It's really a convertible, but it was originally camoflauged. Someone else chopped it and made it blue.

I"m loving the car, but in closer inspection is that back window plastic??? I can't believe that ford would take a step backwards and take the glass out and go with a plastic back window...

I'm hoping its a very good chop...

Unhappy

Hey guys,
Brand new to the board. This Sonic Blue drop is drop dead gorgeous! I'm definitely on track for an '05 and thought it would be the standard GT. After seeing this pic, dunno..may have to wait.

Sweet! I love those things! And whoever said that that was a bad chop was taking medication. Or somethin else they shouldn't have been taking.

Thanks Chaz, I read that the other day, and the seagulls saying that just stuck in my head like a bad commercial.

BTW, looks like you fooled autoweek. Nice work! I think you should send them an autographed copy.

My understanding is that someone just posted a link to it here in the forum section on the web only, not the magazine.

Someday, someone outside the bounds of this website, my beloved home, will take notice of all the cool things done here by many to illuminate the Stang faithful over the last year.
