well while i was watching the patriots i was flipping back and fourth between the game and speed channel....they had an interview w/ Larry Holt from multimatic (hope I got the name right) and he said ford would be offering the boy racer car complete turn key for those who are planning on racing...did anyone else see this? Not just the body in white but the complete package.

I saw it and it was during Grand Am racing. Callida can in second behind Porshce! Wahoo! And a Mustang Cobra almost came in fourth but saddly it burst into flames. Appearntly the left exhaust pipe was loose and scrapped the ground which caused a fire.

No it is the car featured on that Discovery program a couple of weeks back. I think they're still dialing it in, and it'll be available soon. There might be some info on fordracing.com (I think there is, but it's been a while since I looked).

Hope you actually are thinking about buying it for racing, cause there is no way that thing will be legitimate for the road. If you care about that sort of thing.

Be neat to have a fairly affordable factory race car. You would see many more people invloved in events other than drag racing and give ford a bigger presence.

Agreed, but the price of the car isn't the biggest cost... it's the trailer, the garage, the tools, the tires... lemme know if I left much out there. My cousin races street stock up near Buffalo at Lancaster Raceway, and he barely makes ends meet to support his "hobby" as he likes to call it.
