Here's my latest pic...eight and a half years without a scratch or the tiniest door ding, and some moron, drunk off his backside (and it wasn't even noon yet), slams into it just sitting in a quiet office building parking lot...

Yeah. I walked up right after it happened while he was stumbling around out of the car looking at what he'd done to his new Camry.

He then tried (hard) to get me to let him drive off with promises to pay for the damage because "he has a lot of points". he refused to share any reg/insurance info, I pretended to be considering it, but said I'd need proof of ID before he went anywhere, and he let me take a camera shot of his license (that way just in case he ran I'd have some evidence).

At that point a friend of mine from the building walked up and distracted him while I phoned the PD. He decided to run when he heard sirens coming, but went less that a couple hundred yards before 4 cruisers swarmed him.

Blew .08 and got a charge of leaving the scene to go with his oui...

Been sick to my stomach most of the week (this happened Monday). I wasn't exaggerating, the car has really never had a serious scratch or even a tiny door ding in the eight and a half years I've had it, then this...

Hey but the bright side (because this happened to me a couple weekends ago and it wasn't a drunk guy but instead my pastor at the church haha) is that you don't stay upset long. Something happens to a mustang and it always means new parts

You are not wrong....

I actually did line up a little add-on as long as it's going into the shop anyway.
