Lesson learned: A daily driver cannot have a low chin spoiler.

On the plus side, it didn't rip the actual stock fascia.

OUCH! Good luck with the repair.

Thanks Scott! I'll be waiting until spring to try to repair it. No point until the snow melts.

Took this one a few weeks ago. Haven't been able to drive it this week -- been raining the last 4 days. Supposed to rain for the next week.

Any chance you can try and plastic weld it back together Luke? That is why I always try to back into parking spots whenever I can. I learned the hard way with my old V6.

I hope something like that could work. I'm not the best at backing in. If I do end up fixing it and all, I definitely park backwards when I can. I will wait for spring to fix it though. No point in trying until it is clean outside.

Lol ... It's sleeping outside temporarily while I'm doing engine work on her Subaru.
It dropped a valve guide, so I pulled the intake manifold, both heads, replaced the rotted oil pan, a rotted coolant tube, got the heads repaired/refreshed, new gaskets all around, got the heads on now, the valve covers, new water pump, new timing belt and related pulleys/tensioner, new spark plugs, getting ready to put the intake manifold back on and then the alternator, P/S pump, a/c compressor, etc ... Hope this car runs good when I'm done, it's my first time doing this kind of surgery, especially on a Subaru

This is the way the Subie looks right now:

After pulling and reinstalling both heads in the car on this one, I really kinda wish that it was a regular inline-4 with the head on top, it would've made the job a lot easier.

I guess my carbed horizontally opposed engine is a lot easier to work on. I can have the whole engine out in 90 minutes.

This is the way the Subie looks right now:

Even if just temporary, I'd have an outdoor car cover to keep moisture/snow away
