from a good source, (or friend of the family), 2 Mustangs were spotted being taken off the delivery truck at Holman Ford in Maple Shade, NJ. Thinkin about going over and checking them out before mine arrives at the dealer in Stratford, NJ. Who ever ordered one of those Mustangs at Holman is sure gonna be happy!! B)

Spoke with Bill @ Holman Mt. Pleasant, NJ (I believe this is the one you are referring to) on Fri. 10/8 @ 1:15CST. He said they had (1) '05 on their lot for a Mustang show. He did not comment on the date, I failed to ask him. Bill said one of the Ford reps was driving it around. But they "took it back" after the show and they have not recieved any '05 Mustangs of their own yet.

What a bummer....

 

i dunno, possibly, friend of the family was driving down rt 73 yesterday and saw a truck with a mix of Ford cars, but on the truck was 2 '05 Mustangs that was being unloaded, and said they were sitting in front of the dealer building, i didn't hear anything about a car show, but I'm gonna head down to the dealer later aroun 5:30 and check it out for sure, i'll stop home first grab a digi cam and take some pics if they are sitting in the lot

 

Its uncommon but has been known to happen, to have poor planing on the part of the transport company and actually have to unload several cars in order to get the cars they are meaning to drop off. I saw this happen twice in 9 months I worked at a dealership.

One time the truck had only one vehicle for the dealership I worked at, that vehicle was the front vehicle on the bottom row. He had to pull like 3 or 4 cars off the truck to unload that one, then reload those 3 or 4 cars.

The other vehicles on the truck were meant for another dealership about 40 miles away. I don't know if he was suppost to go there first and get us on his way back, Or if the planners just put the cars on in the wrong order.

That might explain these sightings where someone sees them being offloaded but the dealership says they don't have any.

I saw a UFO last night, I swear I did!

 

I stopped in Holman ford in MT. Laurel today at noon to pick up a brochure. They
told me their Stangs are in transit but none are on the ground yet. They did however have the brochures!

brochures are a start! That's more than my dealer has!

 

Showcase cars!! We've built a lot of those, don't know why!! I was wondering what they were, now I guess we know, cars to bring peeps into the showroom!! Probably just the preproduction cars with a good detail job and a window sticker!!! :bang: :bang:
