they are but the reason it was done was because the guy that works at the plant that stamps the wheels showed real pics of those wheels in development. too lazy to go hunt for them right now

Nice find, Brad. But, this guy wants AT LEAST $150 for one wheel, no center cap. He states he has 4 he will be selling. Pesonally, I would wait and get them from my dealer.

It's because they are 18x9 rather than 8. Because the rim itself is a little wider, the offset has to be greater so they stick out the same amount.

At least at this point, it seems the debate over the width and finish (assuming we believe this guy) is over.

How much do you suppose Ford will charge per wheel for polished aluminum, 18x9 rims? I would hope not more than $250.

The chrome 17" bullits are bringing $526 on Ford Accessories site. I think the other bullitts were north of $250 as well.

Yeah...but chrome nearly doubles the price. The silver cobra rims on Ford Racing, 18 x 9.5, are $225 apiece. Usually it seems that polished wheels are not too much more expensive than painted. Maybe there is hope they won't be out of sight. However, if they make chrome ones, I agree with you, the sky is the limit.

I would be shocked if he got any bids on one wheel. He may make more money individually, but there is a much better chance of selling them as a set.
