Depends on wind conditions, The official top speed is 143 m.p.h. as per the manual, but it certainly looks like 145 on the speedo.
I've had mine up there a few times, sometimes it shimmie's, sometimes it doesn't.
When appraoaching a semi-truck on a 2 lane at 130 m.p.h. stand by to see the hood do a hula-dance, and your shorts fill up with poo!

Got up to 120, hood was solid. Then again, maybe the QuickLift hood struts are giving it a little extra support and stability.
Anybody else with the QuickLift have hood shake?

LMAO...Why dont you take this concern as you exactly desribed it here at the dealer and I bet they laugh their but off. I wonder if the dealer would be able to fix this problem. I am sure that they would have to test it. Do you think they would be allowed to get on the interstate with the Stang to see what caused the hood to shake at 150 mph?
No offense but I bet if you look around everything is shaking at 150 mph.

I believe that someone said they adjusted a couple bumpers that lend support to the front edges of the hood to resolve their hood shimmie issue. Try checking that out. They said something about making sure that you can see where those bumpers have rubbed off a bit on the underside of the hood. If you can't see where contact was made, then you need to move them out a little. Best of luck.

That's a good one Did you accidently where a pair of work boots which were heavier than your sneakers? Or did you sneeze and accidently step on the gas?

Here's the reason/solution...
Due to the Mustang's unique front, a lot of air gets into the engine compartment with nowhere to go.
This was the reason for the hood vents you see on the new Shelby Cobra, its to allow that air pressure to escape.
Your solutions...
1. You can cut your own hood and install vents.
2. Buy an aftermarket hood or venting system.
3. Hood pins or hood locks.
Dat be it!

I too have topped 120, no shake. I'd love to test the 150 barrier - just not sure I can find the appropriate time and place to do that.

I've hit around 120 in mine - no shake. I think the biggest factor is whether the rubber bumpers are adjusted to the correct height.
Edit: and the 120 was at a closed racecourse - always be safe!

The very thought of going 150 mph on the road gives me both the heebies and the jeebies.
I wouldn't be able to tell whether the hood was shaking. I would be shaking too much to evaluate it.
