Didn't someone post a week or two ago that their order was bucked? What confirmation shows that the car is actually built? What is different about this bucked status? I'm not trying to be a wet blanket, but from the above posts it seems that something is different now.

I must clarify, after reading the sheet carefully it states Bucked as of 9/8 so that is probably the day it will be built. Sorry for the misinformation... I think I just got a little too pumped up about it and read more than I should have :nono:

I've been lurking here all summer, after ordering a GT in June.
Just talked with my Dealer - Towne Ford, outside Buffalo, NY - and my GT is scheduled to be bucked on 09/06. Which we both think is wrong, most likely 09/07.

My dealer says the first car scheduled in is a GT floor model and I am the second GT to arrive.

Which means, hopefully, I'll have a few weeks of it on the road before the snow flies up here in the arctic wasteland that is Buffalo.
Blah.

VIN# 1ZVFT82H655100811 - got this mid July.

From the Vehicle Order Confirmation:
Order No: 3175
Priority: 11
Order Type: A
Price Level: 500

Your dealer should know this.

Most dates on the Order Status are based on the WEEK, and they use the MONDAY of that week as the date.

So 9/6 means "the week of the 6th".

Make sense?

Go into your dealership on a day when you know your salesman is not there. Ask to talk to the inventory manager or sales manager. Ask him to let you see a copy of the order status report. basically it's a report of all cars that your dealership has on order. Scan down the list until you find your car. it should have your name attached to it.
