I thought this thread was a 100K mile club, not the "I drive my car the least" thread.

As of right now I am at 120553, bought mine 01/05/05. have had several issues
1. water leeked in to main cabin causing the nain computer to have to be replaced
but during that whole ordeal had to have fuel sending units replace twice, updated gas tank,
new fule filter, and with out my baby for 1 month, kicket was I was already at 80K there for
had to pay for most of it, but in the end FORD repaid all expenses.
2. just had to replace drive shaft.
3. replaced battery
4. replaced stock airfilter to K&N
5. both FORD and my mechanic sugest to use nothing but Chevron
6. upgraded stock brakes to slotted and ceramic pads

Why did you have to replace the driveshaft?

had a weard vibration that would start arround 20mph and stop at 80mph, took her to the shop and my mechanic thought it might be the rear axel, checked it out and the driveshaft was actually curved, no longer nice and strait. he saied that it could have been something i drove over, the box the new driveshaft came in and the sticker on the drive shaft stated SCRAP IF DROPED.

sviper, what did you do about your spark plugs? Did you change them out at 100k or sooner?

3 years, 50k miles here. Curious/worried about spark plug issues.

I bought my "used" '06 as a gift to myself for Christmas '06 with ~900 miles on it. I haven't even turned 6k yet I'm not allowed to drive it to work because it violates a couple of sections of the NYS V&T so I only get to drive it once in a while. I am seriously thinking about taking the Sgt's test just so I can drive it to work

Since 100k is exceedingly rare (and rightly so for a car that's only 3-4 yrs old), I'll throw in my .02. Took delivery in May, 2005, have 47,000 and change.

That included a cross-country move from Manhattan to the Bay Area, along the southern route (which was an *excellent* idea since I achieved my land speed record of 140 on a long, flat, empty strech of desert highway in Texas! )

For the most part she's held up well. Went through one set of brakes and one set of tires. Biggest issue was the need to replace the alternator (and battery) just last week. Biggest sort-of "wear and tear" thing I've noticed is a lot of interior rattling, in the doors, the speakers, etc. Also, lots of those plastic screws holding on trunk lining and such have come out, the plastic piece on the top of the trunk (housing the trunk light) snapped off one one side and I had to have it replaced... I think a lot of my rattling comes from having a VERY loud exhaust and just driving her like I stole her about 90% of the time. Nothing like pushing these horses like they wanna be pushed...
