Hi all... First time post...

After several months of agonizing over the '07 interior colors I finally made a decision and ordered my Torch Red GT today!

Not only did I drive myself nuts trying to figure out what the interiors were going to look like, I also drove my wife, and the dealer nuts also.... and... after all of that grief, I ended up going with the charcoal to be safe.

I really wanted a charcoal interior with red accents like the GT500s have but it wasn't to be.. I didn't want all red seats.

Now the waiting begins...............

I shared your opinion about red interior as well. I did not want all red seats.

In my case, I ordered the vehicle triple black and then had Katzkin red/black leather put it. Katzkin dark graphite, by design, is a perfect match for Ford's charcoal.

I would have preferred not to have spend the cash, but I am very pleased with the appearance and the quality.

 

what else did you get on it? 3.55's? heres a nice 06 pic. Congrats

I'm pretty much only going for the IUP, the Premier Trim Package, the Anti-theft, and side airbags.

I decided not to go for the 3.55's. I figured the more acceleration I have the more trouble I'll get into. My current vehicle is a 4 cyl. (I think it is only running on 3 cylinders now ) so the power I'm going to have will be much more than I'm used to so not concerned.

I decided against most of the other options since I figured they weren't worth the money I wanted to spend. I want to save $$$s for the aftermarket!

I am thinking about a shaker hood scoop at some point if I can get up the nerve to cut the hood up. I am also thinking of a tail light bezel and new rear trim panel.

1 day of waiting down!! Only ??? days left.........

 

Welcome 07TorchRed. I've been pretty lucky so far. Ordered 7/11. ERL tells me my unit is scheduled to be built on Aug 7. Some of these other posters have been waiting since December (FlashFearLess). Others since Feb, Mar, etc.
