Just registered for this forum on my phone.Before I take my car to the shop just wanted to look for some help and see what you all think. My car has like 89k miles now. it was misfiring for a couple weeks before I decided time to fix it, I bought new plugs, wires and a coil pack offline and attempted to install it all myself ( never worked on a car before just wanted the experience and to try to save money but mainly was for the learning experience bc I love cars ) the car starts fine and runs but now there is this sound that seems like an air leak to me, I believe i may have stripped the hole to the 2nd cylinder. Does that sound right? bc the plug doesn't go in as far as the others and I have this air sound in idle and gets worse when I drive sounds like a fast ticking sound, and my car has lost a lot of power.

 

Uh oh... No bueno.. probably gonna have to get the head helicoiled
