Options list should be out this week. Hope to order as soon as possible and have one of the first 06's on the road (behind all the bumped 05 orders). Anybody else ready to take the plunge for an 06?

 

Already did. I have one spec out at my dealer. I'm waiting for the pricing on the optional 18 inch wheels.

 

I went to my local Ford dealership on 04/04/05 and the sales rep pushed a 06 order through for me, locking me in as the first Mustang for the new MY from this dealership. I put down 250.00 (money talks) and we were unable to get the "totally" correct order. The main problem was the color. No tungsten yet.

So, I get a call from my rep. yesterday. He wanted me to know that there has been no order/option information recieved by them yet and that he will be out of town on Mon-Wed. He did say that if I still wanted to come down on Monday, that the Sales Manager would be happy to assist. Will go ahead and go down there, update the order, put another 250.00 down and work up the X-plan info. I doubt there will be any prices, but they are aware that I know more about the Mustang and its schedule then they do

I really dont have anything special ordered for my Mustang. GT Deluxe, IUP, Anti-theft, in Tungsten with dark parchment.

Medium parchment/Dark parchment?? What are the interior options on the '06-
I want to order my '06 GT Tungsten with the red ICAP but as much as I love it, am thinking that maybe I'll get tired of the red with time.......If I don't go with red, I think I may order Windveil Blue with dark charcoal interior. What do you think???????? Thanks, Frank

I have had mine on order since 4/15 the factory accepted the order 5/3. added the 18 in wheels 5/9, got verification from the factory that the 18 in wheels have been added 5/13

 

How much did the 18 inch wheels add to the sticker???

 

I also placed an order for a Tungsten '06 GT with the red accent interior and IUP.
Added 18", anti-theft to this 5-speed coupe also.

No pricing yet. It'll probably be our 1st '06 for stock unless it gets presold.

 

It was a $250.00 upgrade. I paided $174.00 ( I think I am geting dealer hold back pricing) for the 17 in aluminium upgrade, so you can use that to scale how much they cost.

 

Tungsten and parchment are going to look nasty together. Go with the charcoal

 

I'll be getting a 06 as well, but I can't order until about March of 06. Paying off current car and saving for down payment. By March and after it comes in should be able to put about 5K down on it.

You read my mind!!! I haven't done it yet but when I go back to the dealer on Monday I'm going to change the interior color to dark charcoal.

 

I am ready to take the plunge. I want to see a photo of Vista Blue before I place an order. If it is truely darker than Windveil, I may go for it. Otherwise, looking to order a GT Vert Premium, 5spd, IUP, 18", Side Airbags, unsure on the spoiler - Probably Windveil Blue, Parchment Int & Top.

Also need to find a dealer in AZ who will take the XPlan. I have my work cut out for me this week.

 

My 05 will have to do for a while, probably get a 2010.

 

Do you know for sure that the red accent interior will be available for the '06's?
