This will be my first. I love the new styling. I didn't mind the later ones in the 90's to 2004 but prefered the styling of my Firebird more. Now, can't wait to get rid of it. Just hope I have better luck mechanically with my new pony.

First time Mustang buyer, long time admirerer.

Had a '75 Chevy Nova for H.S. Then an '85 Honda Accord, then the '95 del Sol......see a trend?

I actually wanted a 1989 Mustang GT back in the day. It was my favorite. Until I was flipping an Auto mag last January, and saw the Mustang concept. Didn't even know it was a Mustang and told myself, "I have to have that car." Flipped when I read it was a Mustang, because I knew I could afford it.

Sat in a GT last Friday, and can't wait until mine comes in (half jokingly) 8-10 weeks from Aug. 13th. Ha ha.

Yes it is my first. Wanted one in the 60s. I waited forty years for this ride and now I have a Redfire GT.

Yes the 05 will be my first Mustang. I've always wanted a Mustang ever since I can remember and I originally wanted to buy an 04 ... then I saw the new model I decided against it and wait for the 05 to come out

This is going to be my first Mustang. Always been in love with the muscle cars from the seventies. This is a retro looking car with modern technology under the hood. The perfect compromise!

Red face

Had four Mustangs before this. A '71, two 73's, and '84 SVO.

Saw the 2005 GT at the Detroit Auto Show in January and knew right then I had to have one for a daily driver. Ends a two year search.

Just bought another Corvette last year - an '03 convertible. Also have two '93 Corvettes. One is a 40th Anniversary Ruby Red with just 1,600 miles on it.

Needed another car I could virtually live in. My '94 TBird has worked out well over its 220,000 miles.

Although I am 66, I need sharp, powerful transportation. No four doors here please!

Yup. I was interested in an 04, then I saw the concept 05. Then I saw the production 05 and was convinced. I've always liked Mustangs. My brother had an 88 GT with T-tops that I loved till he totaled it. Been interested in them ever since.

Nope it will be my 5th. See my signature below. But when I was a kid I always wanted a brand new Mustang Convertible Teal Green with pink, purple, & blue strips almost pin strips around the doors, where the color faded into each other.

Besides there have always been Mustangs in my family. My mom used to drive a 73 or 74, my brother owned a 67 or 68 & a 89, my grandfather owned a 66 & a 67, my Uncle currently owns 2 73 Mach I's, a 94 GT Vert, & a 89 Vert. So, I kinda have to keep the blue blood flowing.

This'll be my first stang. I was going to be getting a 04 Cobra, but everyone that had seen the 05 (including current stang drivers) told me to not even consider the '04s, wait for the '05s to come out. Glad I did, as it also allowed me to save up about 15k for the car. I'll be talking to some investment guys in a week or so to run numbers to see whether investing most of the cash is the way to go, or having a new '05 for like 300 a month is the way to go

B) '65, '67 & 68 over the years.

Wife and I always said if Ford built a late 60's style with modern technology we would be among the first to order.

Ordered GT 5-21, built 9-8 ...... :bang: waiting on a rail car to deliver outs and 3000+ others in AAIs corral ... hopefully soon. According to the system we have an EDD of 10-14 ....... Waiting

My first new car, first new american car, my first Ford, my first Stang. I was looking at the BMW 330ci, when my little bro told me to look at the Mustang. Like so many of you, i liked the 65-69 stangs, but not the 70's or 80s, and the 90's were interesting, but not compelling (though a lot of hot chicks drove them!). Now, especially thanks to this site, I am comfortable that this will be the car for me. I'm still hesitant about buying a Ford, having driven toyotas and hondas for most of my life, but it just fits me too well

I'm a speed guy, and I love to drive, and this car looks like it will give me everything I want, and for just slightly less than 30K (okay, so i want a vert, so maybe a little over 30K) which frankly blows the crap out of a BMW (267 hp v6 :angry. And it runs on regular

I'm glad the bubbas at Ford got their heads screwed on right and started focusing on what people like!
