I too though, would prefer the coupe. I think the reason I like the 05 is that it has that classic fastback look and I think that's lost in the vert. Still very nice, but IMO the coupe is the way to go.

TMS: Will the convertible have a hard boot?
HTT: No, but the top will fold differently than before. Instead of folding back onto itself so you see the underside of the top when it's folded, it's a 'Z' fold.

Looks great! My thoughts:
• Top looks great folded
• Headrest angle looks a little odd. I know they're no different than the coupe, but they are more pronounced in the 'vert.
• Without the fastback roof, the rear 1/4 is a bit plain. Anyone else missing the classic hips now?
I'll personally be forking over the dough for the fastback.
