I do have an '05 vert... however, my baby's birthday isn't until JULY! Guess I wasn't as cutting edge as you were... but believe you me, as soon as I saw that Super Bowl commercial starring the 'vert I *knew* I was going to have one. I can't believe that we have had our '05 GT vert almost a year. Ours was built on 2/28/05, and delivered on 3/7/05.

My wife's '05 MG GT Vert will not have a birthday for another two months (4/27), but it was ordered just over a year ago (2/16). I can't wait to get it out of storage, hopefully, in 6-8 weeks.

I was just thinking about that. My build week was Feb 14, 2005 and I took delivery on March 22. After a few minor warranty problems my vert is doing great. In fact, I am just as happy with my mustang, as I was the first time I drove it. As it is I have less than 10,000 miles.

Simon, I know what you mean about not telling the wife we post things like this.

My baby's b-day was back in November. She sure is getting old fast. Next thing I know guys are going to be stopping by trying to pick her up and I'll have to chase them away with a baseball bat.

Just tell your wives that this car is more like a human being than they think. If the car is dirty you clean it. If it is thirsty you fill it up with gas. If it isn't feeling good you take it to the doctor, I mean, mechanic. Every now and then you buy it a new pair of shoes, and if your baby is like mine, then it is loud and keeps the neighbours up at night.

Mine was born on Feb. 24 (almost a twin) and delivered on April 1. It takes a few extra days to ship cars to the Soo from Southern Ontario. Hoping to pull "Sally" out of the garage on early April. Then the fun starts all over again!

I can't believe its been almost a year. Got mine first week of April, I'll probably reach about 9K miles for the year. But the dealer did have my car for about 3+ weeks of the year for warrantee/top work.

In 11 months, I've probably washed the car 20 times and zaino'ed it twice. She's due for another zaino treatment for her birthday.

Can't wait to drive later today... The top-down season is season is starting in FL.
