i love the cowl induction but that wing stinks hiney
Cowl induction? It's got a stock intake and air cleaner!

It looks like they are preparing for cowl induction. But until it actually connects to something, it's just a rat hood with a mouse motor.

The hood is to vent cool air to the engine, no cowl induction, previous Steeda Cobra R hoods were the same way.

Hahahaha!

- Bulging hood, with nothing functional underneath it to warrant the bulge.
- Boy Racer rear wing

Can you say "Got Rice?"
This is exactly what I feared would happen to the '05. The "tuners" just slathered the same old tired crap onto the new car. :nono:

Same tired wheels :notnice: , Cobra R wing (yawn) , cowl hood :nono: and the same side stripes that are exactly the same as the old car. I'm surprised nobody has put lame 50 year old flames on one yet, I'm sure it'll happen though :bang: I'm also afraid that "billet" grilles will be crapping up Mustang front ends too.... Oh well.

And another thing, repeat after me everybody: unless its for clearance COWL HOODS ARE RICE and lame :notnice:

IMHO all an 05 GT needs to be bad-hiney is tint, little lower, and a V6 grille.

I couldn't agree more. It's just stuff from the SN95 they slammed on:

- Front lip looks and fits even worse than on the previous car
- Cobra-R(ice) wing
- Rims totally wrong offset

And that new gascap is hideous! Makes you wonder if all the real important stuff they offer like CC-plates, springs, shocks etc aren't also old SN95 parts they just slammed on. I'm a big fan of Steeda for their performance parts, but the way this car is butchered is scary. So far there has only been one company that made a bodykit that actually looks better than a stock Mustang and that's Saleen. After the Roush and Steeda debacle let's hope they did their homework properly.

Btw I do like their idea of painting the mirrors and I do like their striping. That's what Steeda's looks like, same way as Saleen will probably repeat their striping design.

But who needs all that. Get a stock GT with spoiler delete option, lower it a tad, put some nice 18 or 19 inch wheels and a V6 grill on it, and you have the best looking car you can imagine on the safe side of 50K.

From Mach1's pic, those rims don't look so bad.

This is a "me too" post.

I can't stand the wing or that tacked on chin spoiler upfront. :nono:

I think that Steeda is pretty hot looking -- sure the wing is ricey, but since it actually complements the design, it looks like it belongs (redundant, I know ).

You know what, the instant neighsayers around here should design their own Mustangs... I would love to immediately criticize them like they criticize every Mustang someone on this forum didn't design (just so you don't offend anyone local, so to speak).
