Salesman from Rancho Santa Margherita Ford here in So-Cal just called my roomate and told him that they just recieved a substansial shipment of 05's they are ready to move. Apparently, he said the sales guy was acting hyper, wanting to wheel and deal. So if your not ordering, and just picking one up off the lot, give em a call.

A salesman wanting to deal on cars they just got in with soooo much hype attached to them?

I will believe it when I see someone walk out under MSRP. Good to know they are hitting the lots in some descent numbers though.

And the sales manager, Robin, said they will honor X-plan pricing.

Ok, please don't flame me for this. But....gasp...how do you get X-plan pricing? You have to know someone who works for Ford, right? Or be a Family member?

because I haven't talked pricing yet with Ben (My Sales guy at RSM Ford), and I have been dealing with Mike Larson (Internet Sales Manager) for almost 3 months now. Is there a way I can get below MSRP?

Rancho Santa Margerita Ford has the one GT theyve been selling on Ebay and the rest of the cars that they currently have are the V6s and they are expecting the GTs within the week. Same with Capistrano Ford and Galpin as well as several dealers in SD.

Every dealer I've spoken to so far (above mentioned) will honr the plans, but without one I know that Santa Margerita and Galpin are getting enough in that they plan on selling them at MSRP, the others sound like they are planning on gouging, but dont hold me to that.

Hey, we need to plan a 05 drive....all of us who are in LA/OC/SD. We should do it early December, or even Late November...when we all have our cars.

beverly hills ford got a gt premium yesterday, silver/black/IUP/5spd. The salesguy and/or dealership is clueless though. He quoted me 37k (!!!) and then recanted when the sticker was handed to him listing it at 27k. I do know for a fact that they're planning on "only" a $2500 markup. The car was fresh, under inspection, and they couldn't find the keys (it was 830pm) so I didn't even get to hear her, much less drive 'er.

San Diego: I just spoke to three dealers nearest me. (El Cajon, Drew in La Mesa and Pearson on El Cajon Blvd.) All have had at least one on the lot (they say) and they've been sold instantly or were cars for pre-orders (hopefully one was you, Clark!) So they're hitting here, but you'd have to practically camp on the lot to keep from missing them.

Anyway, they're gradually trickling in here in SD. FYI.

I ordered mine from an internet sale manager in MN even though I live in SoCal. They are shipping it (Courtisey Shipping from Ford) to Antelope Valley Ford, which is closest to me. I am getting it for $500 over Invoice, plus two years free maintanence. You guys might want to try the same thing.

Order it from an out of state dealer to get a good price and have it shipped to SoCal for free. If you are going to register it in Cali, you are going to have to pay Cali tax on it though.

Where is Santa Margarita? Is it in the OC cuz I'm from the southern Riverside/northern San Diego area?

Its on the other side of Ortega bro. Kind of By Mission Viejo, Irvine, etc. near the 241 toll road if that helps. Your only about a 30-40 min. drive away. My girlfriend lives in the Temec.
