Bauer Ford in Brookville, Indiana just got a Black 05 GT, 5spd, dark charcoal int, IUP, Shaker 1000, side airbags, 17" machined wheels, anti theft.

I got the lucky opportunity to test drive it last night. It was more than I expected. There will be no disappointed people who are anxiously awaiting theirs. Stop by and visit these guys down there, but you better get down there quick because this car will go in a hurry! I cant wait until spring when I get mine!

I was very impressed! First of all, I was shocked when I went down there and my salesman goes, "Hop in, we are going for a drive!" My jaw dropped and I was smiling the whole time in amazement. For all those guys who wanted to test drive an 05 and the dealers wouldnt let you...well I feel sorry for you guys. That dealer should be boycotted. I mean come on...arent they trying to sell the car?? Bauer Ford did not even hesitate to let me drive it. Those guys are great to deal with, and they know how to treat the customer. Anyways, back to the test drive, as I feel like I am promoting Bauer Ford...haha (had to do it!)

My first impression of the car was more than I expected. You have to see one in person to get the full effect. Pictures do not say it all. Exterior was perfect....ford nailed it. I thought that it was unique how there is not one place on the car that says mustang, but yet everyone who sees it will know it is a mustang!! I am more partial to the 17" bullit wheels, but seeing the 17" machined in person...they kinda grow on me. I think the spoiler looks great on this car, fits it perfect. You would be amazed at the heads that were turning as we were driving. It makes me want to get mine NOW!

Ok, now to the drive. When I sat in it, it reminded me of my uncle's 70 Mach 1. You sit really low in the car, and everything surrounds you. The shifter and everything was perfectly placed. I am 6' tall and I had the seat back to where only a midget could sit behind me. Everything felt so smooth and effortless. The clutch was very light and easy. It shifted very smooth and fast. Only thing I didnt like was the shifter throw. I was expecting quick short throws between gears, but it wasnt what I was expecting. At idle, the mustang has a quiet rumble, not as loud as I expected. But, once you are on the road and open it up, it sounds awesome! Tight little V8 that really wraps out quick...I was impressed. I know all of you are wondering how much ***** this car has...well I have to say, YES, this car has a set! Cruising down the road in 3rd and we tromped it and it set us back in our seats and just sounded awesome! First and second gear, will have no trouble lighting them up if you have a heavy foot....like me. It handled awesome. I cant wait to take it on a curvy highway, and really stand into it.

So all in all....Ford really hit a home run with the 05! Exterior, Interior, Performance, Handling, all way up at the top. I cant wait!! Now maybe I will go down there and buy that Black 05. Good luck to all you guys who are waiting. Be patient because you WILL NOT be disappointed!

Well I am off to the innovation drive at Kentucky Motor Speedway. I will post some pics from there, and let you guys know how it went. Thanks for such a great site!!

At Town and Country Ford in Evansville, IN (Southwestern IN):
They have 4 V6's and 4 GT's (one was a pre-order)

The only Mustang with the IUP is the Torch Red that was pre-ordered. I could not believe my eyes when I pulled into the parking lot and saw all of the 05's. I have an invite to come test drive one and will do it today if it stops raining.
