Just a cropped version...you can see the tape.

Cheap mustang commercials right? Just drive them around like this.
factory tape is jagged on the ends...not straight across. it's either been photoshopped or that tape was put on there for travel purposes. according to BON, none of the production '05s have shipped. also, as stated earlier in the thread, there are no window stickers. [/b][/quote]
First problem is, you listened to BON. These look like production cars to me...on top of that, where does it say that factory tape is all jagged at the ends? I've seen plenty of straight tape protection on Ford cars. I'd be very surprised if these aren't production. Also, I'd love to see someone making a convincing chop like this...

BON also said production stopped but we know otherwise. I saw a field of 05 Mustangs as proof.

PaperTarget, did you take the pics? If so, where was the truck? Many are curious about its location.

BON has always had fairly reliable shipping and job dates.

and BON has always had a fairly bad ideal of Ford too. The bad engine story finally convinced me. It was bogus and you only need to be burnt once.

But BON is getting worse and worse about its news. You haven't been here long, trust us, BON is incorrect on this.

BTW, no, I didn't take the pic, but I'm pretty sure it's Colorado or New Mexico.

Oh, I have driven alllllllllll over the west and southwest. Whoever said New Mexico, I agree. The median looks a little beat up for Colorado. Maybe Arizona going towards Phoenix.

Ok... let look at this logically..... There is only one truck photo.

Would their not be more if they where shipping? I think so.
Would not our beloved Amyv6 score a picture? I think so.

The truck is possible/ probibly out west correct?
Why would they be out there? any shows coming up? Anyone need to display their products on the featured car of the show?

I think they are headed to Vegas!! for the SEMA show. .....OR!!!!.....

To Shelby America in .... Las Vegas!!!!

I'll get some spy shots while I'm in Vegas in two weeks....

Only problem with that theory is other people have claimed to see them on trucks in other areas of the country.

To answer the question about window stickers. My salesman told me he had the invoice and the window sticker for my car now. Just no car. So I would assume the dealership puts that on.

I can answer the question of window sticker to a degree.

My first full time job was Jan 1996 - Sep 1996 where I worked as a lot porter at a Ford dealership.

One of my responsabilites was checking cars in after being unloaded off the truck and signing for them.

Every vehicle that came in during that time had no window sticker. We put the stickers on the car before placing them on the lot.

There is one thing that confuses me a little about the picture. Based on the photo the truck is either facing backwards in a rest area or on a frontage road and pointing in the opposite direction of travel for that side of the highway. Also the only way the area in the foreground could be a median as someone suggested is if this was taken in England.

some vehicles have the stickers on them, the others have them laying on the seat of the car, its sometimes both on one truck of the same cars. Coupes they tend to leave them off so you can see out the windows and park/move the cars.

Some service roads are two-way, Or it might be parked in a parking lot.

The real question is where did PaperTarget get this picture, and who took it. Because the person that took the picture could answer many questions.

The site I got it from was so slow...it was impossible to get anything but this pic. I'll try to find out more later tonight.

PaperTarget, why don't you just divulge the information you know about this pic and let us decide for ourselves? You should't have to be so secret of your sources if you are confident and willing to post it in the first place.. no disrespect meant, but tell us what you know about it!

Also, as I person who loves to take road trips and has been on many throughout the SouthWest, I can tell you that many road side parks are on only one side of the road. Saves the state money, plus you're in the middle of nowhere and probably don't need one on both sides of the road (not enough traffic/people). Why he's in it that way is anyone's guess, but I wouldn't read too much into it. I mean seriously, what difference does it make?
