I'm not sure if this is news worthy or not...

I just drove by the Ogden Yard in Calgary, and there it was... an 05 GT in Red Fire with the optional wheels. I took some pics, but all I had with me at the time was my Nikon F100.

Now I know they're actually for real!

 

Is Ogden Yard a dealership? I've been watching the ford dealer near me for any sign of a mustang. Finally got some of the other 05's last week, like the 500 and freestyle. If you're seeing mustangs at a dealer in calgary, it can't be long before we get them in montreal.

Sounds like a holding lot.

Things are going as stated, Mustangs in Canada will be transported to various holding lots around the country and then have a massive drop in a short time.

I am gonna drive by the holding lot in Brampton this weekend to see if I spot anything.

Brampton holding lot is between Airport and Gore Road on Highway 7. Its on the south-east side where Highway 7 crosses the train tracks.

Yup.... The Ogden yard is a holding lot... sorry.

I spoke with the dealer today and he said they actually had four in the lot, although I only saw one. Two others were there destined for other dealers, for a total of six.

He did, however, mention that November 10 seems to be the target release date, but that it's not cast in stone - yet.

 

which dealership was it at Advantage is advertising that they will be getting 12 within two weeks

 

Advantage it is! Four of the 05's in the Ogden yard were designated for them.

 

I got an Invitation to the "VIP" unveiling in Victoria on Nov 16.....Hopefully Ill get my car soon after that.

 

Was also told by totem ford and richport ford (in vancouver) nov 16...

Dan and Steve, did you guys notice the ad in the Sun today for Summit Ford? Apparently they have 36 mustangs for an initial opener? I tried to search their inventory on Ford.ca but couldn't find it. 36 sounds like b.s to me, what do you think. I'm up in Rexdale on Monday so I'll find out the scoop. Maybe they'd like a rep( mod) from THE SOURCE to cover the event, pics, test drives etc?

I just used my saturday issue as wrapping paper.

as far as I know, there won't be any major mustang movent and every dealer will get only a handful for their first batch. If anything is different PM us.

 

They are known for having mustang shows etc... What exactly did the ad say? When is the event?

 

Sweet then we should be seeing them at the dealers here in E-town very soon then.
