I had to drive to Houston today for a meeting and on my way home I spotted a red '05 GT west bound on Interstate 10 about 30 miles east of Houston. I was east bound so I didn't get a good long look but it immediately caught my eye when it passed. It had the long CB antenna on the back deck like some of the other test mules we've seen in pics.

I had two people tell me they have seen the Red 05 on 45 South in Houston.
Looks like they were right.
Why can't I get to see one?

I just moved to Oklahoma from Houston...my chances are about 0 now of seeing one until they come out. Though I got up close and personal with the Windveil blue GT at the Houston Auto Show last spring. The Ford rep there gave me a hanky to wipe the drool off. She said she'd have the cleaning people take care of the car after I left....

It's kind of hard to take a pic of car coming at you 75mph while you're traveling at 75mph in the opposite direction. Trust me, if I could have, I would have.

A test mule would make me all teary eyed. Poor Mustang. All that power, grace, and style .. all that, and it's destiny is still the wrecking yard

Logic dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. The test mule gives its life for a good cause.

The cause would be? I'd be glad to take it off their hands

I don't know man, I probably would be capable of something like that. Seeing as that I still haven't seen it person , and everybody just loved it when they saw it in person

I guess I must see for myself...off I go again to search for this alleged '05 in Houston
