There isn't a huge difference. Do a decent CAI and tune on a GT, and just up your tires from the stock 235s to 255s and you pretty much counter any performance advantages offered by the Bullitt.

The Bullitt is a nice car, for sure, but it's an even nicer marketing ploy.

Hmmm... I thought that since the title of this thread prominently contained "Car and Driver" and "GT vs. Bullitt" that we were talking about a comparo done by the mag.

Therefore, I was expecting an announcement that a BMW won the comparison.
