I like the lack of overboard identification. (My '87 had MUSTANG pressed into the front and rear bumpers.) I figure if someone doesn't know it's a Mustang, they won't really care anyway.

I'd even like to remove the "Mustang" plates on the door sills of my '07. Does anyone know if there are replacements?

Sorry about the slight Hijack...just curious.
Vert does great! I have been going to the same car wash for almost 2 years with THIS 'Stang, and also my PREVIOUS (2002) 'Stang as well, with no ill effects.

I do recommend Ragg Top afterward to keep the "like new" look, but other than that my Pony looks great!

A perfect example of this happened to me just yesterday. I am on lunch and head to the closest Subway. Standing in line the guy in front of me asks if I was the guy driving the Mustang and I said yes. He says he was surprised he didn't hit someone looking at my car in his rear view mirror.
The guy didn't have to see MUSTANG anywhere he just KNEW it was one.

seriously if Ford is to change something, they need a new logo. Nothing like having a red Ford car with an ugly blue oval on the back. (not that i have a red ford car... but you know what i mean)

The blue oval is a symbol of an American automotive icon. I think it is classic.

What other vehicle out there would people instinctively know what it is without any badges??

They can tell what it is because it does NOT look "TOTALLY different than any other mustang out there". It is what it is because of all the classic design cues it took from the mustang in the sixties.

Yes, I'm guilty. I posted the same topic on two different forums..... just to get feedback from a broader audience.
