window control lights

when i got my mustang it had electrical problems so i never knew if the window control buttons were supposed to light up, i know they do on other fords for my year, 2000, and was wondering if theyre broke or not..thanks

I have the same question on my 94 GT that I just bought. Do they light up or not?
