Wheel bearing

How would I know if my wheel bearing is bad on my 04 GT ?

usually noise and/or vibration. Front bearings can be checked by raising one side, grabbing the tire and rocking it side to side. Rear bearings usually make a lot of noise when they go bad.

That could also be a Tie rod if I am correct?

Front wheel bearings make a knocking sound when they go out then start to roar at highway speed

I had to replace my driver side wheel bearing a while back in my '02 GT. It was causing a realy annoying squeaking sound when I turned and/or hit bumps.

Alright, time for the clean up crew to come in.

First off, I understand that you are trying to figure out what is wrong with your car, and that is all fine and dandy, and that is exactly what this forum is for. However, it is not meant for a litter of threads asking the same question with minutely different details.

Here's my bit of advice for future posting; Post the original question to start with, and if the answer takes turns toward different answers do not rush for the "New Topic" button, but instead redirect that current thread to appeal to that bit of advice.

All four of your threads started on this forum were about the same problem. Heck, two of them even had the same title. All of which do not belong in the V8 section since they have nothing to do with your car being a GT, and posting it in the open SN95 section would have given your thread more visibility and traffic.

I know I may sound like a jerk, but I'm really just looking out for you and your best interest, and for your best interest I think posting a single thread about your wheel vibrations in the open forum would have been a much more logical way to start. I know you're still getting the hang of the forum, and we've all been there, so this isn't a reprimand, but just a friendly nudge.

Welcome to the boards, and good luck with that noise, I have a terribly annoying sound coming from my rear right, and I'm having one heck of a time scoping it out too.
