Tire sizes

Hey guys I have 17x9 wheels on my 04 GT and I wanted to know how wide of a tire I can put on the front/rear. Right now there 225/55/17 in the front and 235/55/17 in the rear. thanks!

Thanks, I haven't lowered the car any would have I any issues with rubbing?

Nope.

Hell you can fit 315s in the rear if you so desire. I've even seen some with 335s

225 on a 9 inch rim?!?!? I wouldn't go smaller than a 255r45 and ideal is 275r40
