I just got the tokico HP shocks and struts. They feel absolutely great. They can handle a slight drop aswell. They were very budget friendly aswell. Check out latemodelrestoration.com and you can get them as a set. They also have great brake kits aswell.

Do a cobra brake upgrade. Huge difference. Any spring and shock combo will make a big difference

If its a street car then normal shocks and struts, if its track or auto x, coilovers would be good. You can only get a cobra brake kit from ebay used.. ford stoped producing them. there are several companys that make reproductions, one of them being "SVE" from lms.

Yeah, they are good for street use and lowering springs. I am also debating a big brake kit or just beefing up the stock... I am really considering the brembros from the stock cobra r.. http://www.americanmuscle.com/brembo...0-cobra-r.html a bit more expensive but they are really good.

yea me too but i was looking in latemodelrestoration and they sell the front an rear slotted brakes with pads for $359 to $380 but without calipers but i saw the sve the rear in $360 and the front in $350 but still y think ots cheaper to buy the brembo kit instead and i bet it will be better

I like the brembo because it has 4 piston instead of 2, it was used on the cobra r, wich was basicly a street legal race car. The cobras are supposed to make a world of difference over the stock. But i have also heard stock rotors, hawk hps pads, stainless steal braided lines and a more agressive brake fluid is "leaps and bounds better than stock". But with all that youre only 150 or so shy from the cobras...
