I've had my 2003 Cobra approximately a year and one month. I go outside today and there's a hole in the car where the cobra emblem used to be! Good thing I didn't catch the lowlife that did it- I'd be in jail right now for beating him within an inch of his life!
Same thing happened twice with my '96 Cobra a month after I got her. Anyone know if a company out there makes steel cobra emblems? I'd like to weld on a pair! :bang:

 

:notnice: That bites the big one. I'd drive around trying to find the punk that did it and run him over. I am protective of my car even though I dont like it. The last person that said they was gonna do something to my car I told them that their mother would have to have a close casket funeral. Kid never bothered me again

 

That really stinks. I don't under stand why people just can't keep theirs hands to themselves.

it has been going on for as long as I can remember, get bloody big dog with a tie out leash big enough to protect your car!

 

one day, I came out of High School, and my mom told me that the kid next to us rubbed the nose of his car on the back bumper on his way out. He's lucky it was rainy, because it didn't leave a mark.
If I would have seen him do it, who knows what I would've done? Or if there was a mark, I would have tracked him down. :angry:

 

I remember in high school...i HATED this one kid, and he HATED me...every time we were anywhere near eachother we would get into a fight...

BUT!

We both knew...the cars were off limits...its just a rule...

On a side note, be glad he didn't take the whole car.

when i had my 95 v6 in high school, some kid with an Escort GT that was totally "pimped" would screw with my car. He let the air out of my tires one day. Then when i got my GT, it got egged the night of our big rivalry football game. Oddly, it wasnt by our rivals, but by kids in MY town. You get a nice car, and everyone automatically hates you. But the 1st time ANYONE touches my cobra, I'll be in jail for murder.

Sorry to hear what happened.
Last year around high school graduation time, instead of jockying our vehicles around to put our '96 away we left it on the street. Some idiots with nothing better to do vandalized 15 cars including ours overnight. They put the narrow end of a pick-axe through the outer and inner skin of a front fender. If I caught who did it a pick-axe would replace PearBear's avatar guy but wind up in the same place.

 

I agree with Valentino. My car is a reflection of me in some ways. And like you always hear, your car is probably your 2nd biggest investment next to your house.
