SN 95 Project Car, what mods worked for me......

I bought my 2000 GT (White 5 speed/Mach 460) New in January 2001 for $21,500. I wanted a Cobra, but they didn't make them in 2000, so I decided to make mine look like a 2000 Cobra R.

Stock 225rwhp/260rwtq 1/4 mile.. 14.40@98
It didn't stay stock long, most of my NA mods were done in the first year.

2002 Mods: Cold Air, Magnaflow CatBack 231rwhp/270rwtq 14.08@100

2003 Mods: C/A, Magnaflow CatBack and catted X pipe, Dragon Intake Elbo, Aluminum Drive Shaft, Drag Radials 245rwhp/289rwtq 1/4 mile 13.85@101

2004 Mods All the mods above and a Vortech V2 SQ@11# 381rwhp/377rwtq 12.50@111

With the suspension mods the car handles very good on the road (I have driven "The Tail of the Dragon" in anger 6 times) and on the track. The car has won a few trophies at the Car Show's over the years. It now has 30,000 miles on it and stays in the garage when not driven. I get 26 to 27 mpg on the highway when I take it easy, which is hard to do. All of my Mods are insured through my insurance company. I plan to give this car to my son one day and I will probably get a 2010/11 Stang when they come out. I love the SN 95 look and still can't get use to the S197, hopefully the next Mustang will look better than the current one.

Supercharger Vortech V2 SQ

Those two (panhard and SS brake lines) are on my short list as well. I think I may get the lines this summer, and then upgrade to Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads when needed.

You've done a great job on your Mustang! You are like me, you keep them around too. I differ in my thoughts about the S197 though, I love it, its just a different flavor of Mustang thats all.

If you buy Powerslot rotors I will personally Smack the crap out of you when I see you next!!! I'm telling you now that if you put Hawk pads on Powerslot rotors they WILL crack...they are offshore junk.
