Ok i have always wanted to put exhuast on my 2002 GT but im torn between going with a Borla side exhaust and the traditional really cool chrome tipped catback system. If i get the side exhaust can i still use an X-pipe? Which provides more preformance/sounds better?
I really like how both of them look so it might be up to preformance
What do ya guys think?

 

I have been in the same situation for sometime. :bang: I have decided to go with a catted X -- probably magnaflow -- and with some sort of side exhaust I am thnking of going with Steeda cause "they gain HP in stead of losing HP" but honestly you only lose single digit HP. I also want a car that looks different. If you want more performance, then you probably do not want to go with side.

Oh. I also have chosen side because I will be getting Steeda's 5 link setup sometime in the distant future.

I like to be different... and I am not going for HP... but it is a nice side effect
