Red face Rough estimate in these mods

Alright, my plan is to throw on a intake from a 94 cobra, along with the gt40x heads from American muscle. And shorty headers, x pipe and some flows.and I suppose a wider throttle body. And pulleys. What could my power raise to with these on. My car is stock otherwise. I'm too cheap to use a dyno to find my current hp
All of this is on my 94 gt

if you are already gonna do heads might as well throw a cam in it. the pushrod 5.0s wake up a little better with heads and cam

Your going to need to dyno tune it or else it won't run right, your CPU is tuned for your heads and intake changing them to higher flowing ones will throw your CPU off

Will I need a tune for just the intake then?

You may get away without a tune with just the upper and lower intakes but it will not run 100%

Your CPU will adjust but not enough for the full benefits of the swap and it may flow so much air that it causes it to throw a code

It's hard to throw out power numbers without having your current power level. However, I guarantee you that your Cobra will run a lot better and will definitely pick up some great power. A tune is going to be crucial for a set up like this! I would recommend strapping the car down to a dyno to get a solid tune and have a print out of how much power your pony really makes.

Like listed above, if you're going to do the heads I'd also recommend throwing a cam in. It's not much more work and it definitely pulls your set up together!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in near future!

In other words without a good tune all those mods won't add up to much, the tune ties it all together.
