Rotor Ware Help

Just installed a new set of cross drilled a slotted rotors on my 2002 GT. All went great but for some reason the rear right rotors is getting grinding on the top pilling off the coating and leaving odd heat marking on the very outer edge of the rotor. A mechanic looked at it and grabbed my hub and notice play in it. Was wondering if anyone thinks its just the wheel bearings gone bad or if the caliper might be bad as well. Its only doing it on the rear right. Would like some help with this before my money goes down the drain on my new rotors and pads. thanks

If the mechanic can "notice" play in the outer bearings, its definately time, and can definately have an affect on how everything is tracking, and aligning.
If things are not spot on, then yes, there can be heat, and wear marks.

Ok thanks. I bought the bearings and seals for both sides. might as well changes both while I have the rear end housing open to change the right side. Also know a step by step on the brake boost change on the 2002 GT (hydraboost) system?
