Didn't you get those sideskirts on yet, lol
I had a 2000 V6 Mustang that I converted to a Roush before I bought the one I have now. Its the red one in my avatar, actually. Then I bought my 2001 S2 convertible earlier in the year and actually paid no more for it than blue book on a 2001 GT with the same mileage so for me getting an actual Roush Mustang was worth the money I would've paid for a conversion. That being said I think the converted stangs are just as nice. After all, if Roush didn't want replicas then they wouldn't sell the parts
FWIW, I have been a member of Fnsweet.com for a long time and I do see that mentality you posted about over there and haven't really been as active there lately. There seems to be different "groupies" over there and half of the time people refuse to post a reply to a legitimate mechanical question or Roush question for one person and then they will post an answer for someone else.

Yup, I see that too. There is a guy doing a full conversion there also and they say how great it looks and how nice its moving along, and for mine they say, how about go buy one. He is actually just buying all the pieces and just having a shop install it, where I am doing it myself as a project with my dad, either way its kool. I talked to him through PM he is a nice guy but does not know anythng about installing the parts. He did have much praise from the same yahoo's that made rude comments about mine....Now I'm just real carefull about what I ask. I still like the page though, its cool :notnice:
As for the side skirts :bang: Was going to get that done last Friday but the owner of the shop was not there. So now I have to wait until my next day off on Wed to get the side skirts, rear valances, and the roush spoiler painted. The wait is keeeling me :bang:

finally dropped off all the parts at the paint shop!!! had them use the stock GT spoiler for the matching of the paint. Prb wont see the finished product until this weekend. I guess they were saying that my color is a 2 stage so its harder to match. Now my stang has a Bullit look to it with the spoiler being gone

you can see the small dents the stock spoiler left. the only problem is that the roush spoiler does not cover those dents, because the post are smaller.

Well if you are going with the Roush stuff, I would personally go with the Roush wheels. Those bullitts do look really good though!!
Are you going to put shorter springs on??

yeah i'v been thinking of lowering it before I get the wheels. I just want to make sure my clearence is ok. plus lowering is a lot cheaper than buying new wheels

just finshed putting on the side skirts. kinda a pain doing them alone. should have a better picture soon. Good shot if anyone ever wondered what a GT looks like with Roush Side Skirts with no exhaust tips.
