99+ gt's are not electronically governed. The only speed limiting they have is drag. I.E. the amount of power that the car has to push it to wahtever speed is the cars top speed.

Now I believe the GT's that came with 16" wheels were governed to 110mph due to tire rating limitations

Like I said, I know 99+ gt's do not have a governor. They will go as fast as the cars power to drag ratio will allow it to. Which is around 145 for the most part.

The GT's with 16" wheels were limited to 110 through the ECU.

I know, I get that all the time.

Btw, have someone else take the pic, your hands should be on the wheel at 100+.

I want one myself. But the backstretch will also be big enough for drag racing

The programming codes I've reviewed like that of a 99 and 01' have been governed to 180mph, cal. code GTG3 is. If you'd like I can look up your actual governer speed if you can post your calibration code of your PCM.

Later Doug904.
