Question on 2000 gt wheels
I was reading the timeline for the 2000 mustangs on this site and I noticed that it stated "2000 would be the last year that 16" wheels came standard on GT. The GTs with 16s were speed governed at 110 mph." I was just wanting to know if this was true, especially the part about the cars being governed at 100 mph. Does anyone have pictures of all the available wheels for the year 2000 and the different sizes. Thanks a lot.

This is a 1999 model with 16" wheels (note the foglamps):

Here is a 2000 GT with 16" wheels:

The cars were governed at 110 because of the tires.
Here are the other two wheel options for 2000:

i own a 2000Gt mine came with the 16'' ponies pictured on the red car i bought bullit mustang wheels for it. i dont know of anyother wheels in the year of 2000 that they used.. i've had my car up to 125 and it hasn't shut off yet.
So the last two pics are optional 17 inch wheels? So all 1999 and 2000 mustang gts came with the 16 inch wheels standard, and you had to pay extra to upgrade to the 17s? So since all 1999s and 2000s gts came standard with the 16s, were they all governed at 100 mph? Thanks for all responses. I'm just doing some research before I buy one. Thanks.
the 17" wheels were part of the premium GT package. Not sure what else there was over the wheels, but it was not governed by mechanical or ECU means.
